Decent story, it wasn't much going on though. It was a drag for me because it was so repetitive. The drama was minimal which didn't help & a lot of sex it. I admire Loghan & Dro's relationship, they were like the perfect/ideal couple. I'm glad Ari didn't get sucked back into Trell's scheming ways. I like her & Brooklyn together too, plus she deserves all the happiness after losing both parents.I would have liked to hear things from Briana's POV, especially after finding out she was messing with Trell. It seemed like she became a non factor after the first few chapters but was supposed to be best friends with Ari & Loghan.
I doubt I'll read part 2, I felt like this should've been a standalone. Ending stories with a cliffhanger is cliche. I really thought it was going to end on a happy note after they graduated. Being that it wasn't much to the story & they didn't discuss what they wanted to do after high school, I can't see where part 2 is headed. Brooklyn's ex pops up with a baby, we never even heard of her but very briefly & that was only because of the pictures left on the porch. I think it was obvious that Kasee &/or Trell messed up Ari's car. Minus the cliffhanger, everything could've been resolved in one book.

Will I Fall For A Thug Like You edition by Tori D Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
It held my attention since page 1. I love all the twist & turns this book issue out. Briana is a backstabber friend. Trell need to get a 9to5 & leave Ari alone. Brooklyn is BAE LOL.
Awesome job Tori D!! I was engaged from the first page. I enjoyed all the characters, with the exception of Trell. Anyways...I knew some drama was coming. Ari and Brooklyn's relationship was going too smooth. Ready for part 2!
Great read. Lots of things going on . Trell was about the money but not smart enough to get it. He thought his charm was going to keep Ari. Logan needed someone to love since her mother sure did not. Dro was in love with her and would keep her safe. Glad Logan & Dro had each other. Air found Brooklyn which was as a perfect match for her. Looking forward to part 2...
Not too much going on in this one but Trell came off as a clown from the jump so it really didn’t take much to be over him and the situation. I really wanted more out of Dro and Loghan because all they seemed to do was have sex with nothing testing their relationship.
Not sure about Brooklyn, he’s let Trell do too much as far as Ari goes, Dro’s more protective then he is which is not good for the start of their relationship. The ending was kind of wack, wish something else would’ve happened seeing that no matter what she’s the ex and has no reason to be upset behind what BK had done.
I absolutely loved this book and its not just because I think Tori D. is one of the best story tellers in urban fiction... The whole flow of this book was on point from beginning to end. I can not wait til part two drops... I loved Dro, Brooklyn, Loghan and Ari.... I loved the fact that even though Ari lost both her parents and had no one else except her friend/brother and her bestie.. She always wore a smile and didn't let any one else's drama being her down... She knew how to walk away and be strong... She wasn't portrayed as a female had a lot of loses and became weak because of it. She didn't allow Trell's sorry behind take control of her mental.... She remained true to her essence and was blessed with a good man as well as best friend rolled into one. She was also very loyal to those she loved. Loghan was blessed to have such a great friend that no matter what she was always there or would get there soon. I'm glad she found good love with Dro. He was a standup guy with a dash of street and lots of love that he freely shared without hesitation. Brooklyn was my book bae. I lobed how he carried himself from the beginning. He shared his feeling without hesitation.. no games just like Dro... He communicated and always made sure his bf/girlfriend was good... On another note Trell was just a straight up dog that surely will have his day in part two.. Brianna was very niave. She allowed him to step in and take total control without so much as a thought of her long time friend. He had her fooled for sure while juggling other females basically telling them the same thing. I am anxiously waiting for part two... I know its going to be just as good ...You know why cause one of my favs wrote... Big ups to Tori D.! Please don't keep us waiting long!
I bought this book! I enjoy reading this book!
A cute little story that is well written with a great flow. A few errors that don't take away from the story. Realistic characters and issues. Fake friend, scheming ex and jealous people make for a good read. On to Part two.
